Madagascar Maritime Services (MMS), est une filiale de GALLICE implantée à Madagascar.
MMS assure diverses missions dans l’océan Indien au profit des autorités publiques et du secteur privé.
Ces missions vont de l’assistance aux bateaux en difficulté à la lutte contre les trafics (pêche illicite…), en passant par l’appui à l’exercice de la souveraineté dans les eaux terrotoriales.
Depuis 2011, GALLICE dispose de ses propres moyens nautiques. Parmi ceux-ci, le Libecciu est une ancienne vedette des Douanes françaises.
Récemment, à la demandes des autorités diplomatiques Comoriennes, MMS a ainsi porté secours à un navire de recherche battant pavillon comorien, le Simacom, à la dérive à 120 milles des côtes d’Anjouan avec 36 personnes à son bord. Grâce à l’intervention rapide des équipes de MMS, le navire a été secouru et l’ensemble des personnes en détresse ont été sauvées.
